When we are living through such perpetually uncertain times, it is imperative that we know how to resource deeply from within. We all have innate access to calm clear water below the storm that is a source of trustable inner guidance… a compass from which we can confidently navigate through the thickest of fog.
But how do we attune to the calm clear trustable guidance when we are busy trying to navigate the wild waters above?
There has sure been some intensity and learning through eclipse season and Mercury retrograde. We are emerging from the activations and outer experiences that encouraged us to slow down (a forced slow down by real storms in my part of the world!) but things may not yet feel lighter. Solstice season can be a time of extremes. The energy in your part of the world may be Yang rising up out and into action… or Yin… deep and inward… slowing down… and listening.
The bottom line is… this is not exactly a time of balance. So it’s very important to be gentle and patient with ourselves and key to be able to easily discern “outer” energies from our own “inner” guidance.
Our relationship to boundaries (our LET LOVE WIN! theme in May) can affect our confidence in our own inner wisdom, and our capacity to follow through on intuitive guidance.
There are parts of us all that simply want to belong, keep the peace, stay connected, stick with what feels familiar (whether it’s healthy for us or not). This can drive us to unconsciously or consciously override our inner knowing.
We may ignore exhaustion and keep pushing onward. We may say an enthusiastic “Yes” when we are truly a full body “No”. We can get lost in the needs and energies of others and become disoriented to our own inner needs and guidance. Unfortunately disregarding our own needs only leads to resentment. There are many reasons we find ourselves straying from the tune of our own heartsongs…
Many of us passionate women of heart may clearly receive intuitive guidance… but then overthink until we eventually allow logic to prevail.
Some of us have so many competing voices that we aren’t even sure how to discern intuition from the rest.
No matter how wild the outer weather (and was it ever wild this month for me!) we can always turn inward to connect to deeper calmer waters where our intuition and creativity calmly await the opportunity to guide us.
