“Growth and grief often go hand in hand, something so few mention. Feeling the full range of our emotions is critical to being creative, healthy, and whole.” – Jennifer Racioppi
On August 11th, with the full moon in Aquarius following the peak Venus portal, we gathered for our seasonal Feminine Climate Renaissance. We explored why climate feminism is the rising tide we need to melt through age old barriers, pioneering our way to new heart guided, innovative, irresitable empowered action.
We reflected on our own nervous system fight of flight responses, and awareness we are gaining around how our conditioning may be holding us back from “talking climate”, and following our hearts more freely to be of benefit in any way we can be at this pivotal time.
The feminine way embraces paradox… only the heart can hold it all and be a bridge. We shared and welcomed our grief AND engaged in a beautiful gratitude practice. This topic isn’t easy… its huge… it’s heavy, it’s overwhelming… its urgent… it’s triggering… it’s happening…
AND yet… our conscious or unconscious fears create a restless uneasy impatience, resistance, discomfort and urgency that cut off our connection to the very creative wisdom we need…
Together we practiced resourcing, increasing our vitality, learning how to notice our own self contractions, our own freezing, fawning, fighting, fleeing responses in the face of discomfort and overwhelm.
Together we are growing our resilience and capacity to fully meet what JUST IS…. to meet what arises with wild open hearts, with enough softness to receive new inspirations and the creative current of guidance that dances through the “we space”.
It feels good to explore, feel, and heal together. It feels right in our bodies to practice “talking climate” openly.
We know research confirms that the more women talk climate freely…the more bold conversations we dare to have that truly matter… the more great changes will happen from the personal to the planetary.
Are you aware of what happens in your own nervous system around talking climate?
