Are You Satisfiable?

How have you been through these eclipse energies? I felt so nourished by our community TeaTime gathering which gifted me the resiliency to choose LOVE inside of activations and follow my body wisdom to create a window of REST before the eclipse. Within the conditioning of “never enough” culture… REST… is a form of radical resistance!

It felt really important to me to fully feel into the alchemy of our last TeaTime. To allow the time needed to capture the essence of our beautiful “Conversation That Matters” and gather all the beautiful inspirational resources, the moving music, and the wisdom shared in the “we space”.

This gathering was truly a relief to our nervous systems. The Inspiration for this session came from Adrienne Marie Brown’s interview on ( We Can do Hard Things Podcast) titled “Why are we never satisfied?”

We are innately satisfiable… and yet… we live inside of an unsustainable system that thrives on us feeling forever never enough… forever unsatisfied… especially with ourselves….do you ever feel like you are postponing satisfaction? Is contentment a mysterious ever moving target… with ever-shifting unachievable conditions?

We may have been conditioned out of simplicity and satisfaction but, truly, are we satisfiable right now?

Reawakening this within is key to health from the personal to the planetary and we practiced this reawakening at TeaTime.

We began with a guided meditation where we assumed any posture that we felt invited more of us to embody and authentically arrive into the moment. We self-attuned and remembered how simple and easy it is to reclaim our innate satisfaction.

I shared our TeaTime quote from my tea, which read:

“Smiling is the most basic form of peace work”

This was so aligned! Reminding us how powerful it is to reclaim simplicity and satisfaction.

Megan was moved to tell the origin story and regenerative approach of her Self Care for Climate Care journey (what do we even mean when we say Self Care for Climate Care and Feminine Climate Renaissance?)

She then shared journaling questions for us to write or ponder or meditate on about simplicity and satisfaction…and… what is in the way?

The chat was alive with beautiful explorations of what truly feels satisfiable and how simple the ingredients are. A strong theme was connection to nature, self, loved ones, arriving fully into the moment, and community. Moments in Nature, and with our own nature, was a strong theme that emerged as we journaled.

A powerful shared realization occurred among us that it is inside of THESE moments of full presence, simplicity and satisfaction that we spontaneously receive real insight, solutions, inspirations, and our one heart-guided next step! Arriving fully into simple, satisfying moments is EXACTLY how we receive what is truly meant to move to, from and through us. This is how we can move forward, heart first, rather than allowing fear and disconnect to guide our thoughts and actions.
